Fun, Practical Ways to Build Resilience & Emotional Wellbeing
Research shows increased emotional wellbeing and resilience improves attendance, behaviour, educational attainment (11% increase in SATS results) and life chances.
Our workshops have been developed to introduce children (aged 3-11) and their families to 6 scientifically proven ‘happiness habits’ that can help to build resilience and boost wellbeing and learning outcomes across the community.
The programme has been co-designed and evaluated with schools, early years, families and mental health professionals to provide something that delivers for everyone. It can be run in a range of formats, tailored to different settings' individual needs – as whole class / school / nursery activities, an in-school targeted intervention or as a universal after school or holiday club or community workshop, with open invitations to all children.
How It Works
This easy to run, sustainable ‘ wellbeing project in a box’ can be easily picked up and run straight away with minimal resources and maximum impact.
Schools, nurseries and community groups can choose the delivery model that best suits their needs and resources:
You can book one of our facilitator-led workshops or clubs or have training and resources to do it yourself. You receive a box of resources and facilitator manual and optional training of internal ‘Happiness Heroes leaders’ recruited from your setting or wider community. Training includes practical advice on funding or finding cost-neutral ways to deliver the project.
Workshops, events and programmes are available covering a range of emotional wellbeing and mental health topics.
