Some scientists think that being active can improve wellbeing because it brings about a sense of greater self-esteem, self-control and the ability to rise to a challenge. And exercise outside has been shown to have the greatest effect on emotional wellbeing. And it's free!

Balloon Keepy Uppy
...It's hard not to feel good with a balloon around...
and it means the kids get away with playing footabll inside :) Get the stopwatch out and see how long everyone can keep the balloon off the floor with heads and feet... try and beat the team's best effort each time.
Active Fun Hide and Seek
Everybody thinks of an active challenge – like 10 star jumps or 10 step ups, knee lifts for a minute etc. and then take it in turns to go and hide with their challenge – when you find them everyone has to do that challenge and the ‘winner’ gets to hide next.
